What to Expect
Perfect for Honeymoons or anyone who wants to have a quiet, romantic getaway. With the warm coastal waters in Durban and the tranquility of Thanda Private Game Reserve, you’ll come away from this holiday feeling renewed and soon longing to return to Africa.
On arrival at Durban’s King Shaka International Airport, you are met on the airbridge of the aircraft and assisted through border security. Once in the arrival’s hall, our representative will introduce you to the Staff from the Oyster Box Hotel. You transfer from the Airport to the hotel where you check in for your 3 night stay. You have the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your flight.
After Breakfast at the hotel, you have the day at leisure to relax and just enjoy the hotel. Spend some time at the pool or head down to the beach and enjoy the worm waters of the Indian Ocean. If you feel like heading out and exploring more of Durban, we can arrange some additional touring for you.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, taking in the ocean views from the breakfast area. You have the day at leisure to relax at the hotel and perhaps spend some time in the Spa, or we could arrange some optional touring for your.
After breakfast at the hotel you check out and take a private, luxury transfer from The Oyster Box hotel to Thanda Private Game Reserve where you check in for your 3 night stay at Thanda Safari Lodge. You arrive in time to join the afternoon Game Drive. Included in your stay are 2x daily game drives. One drive in the morning and another in the late afternoon.
After and early morning game drive with a brief stop for coffee while you enjoy the sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast and have the rest of the day at leisure. This afternoon you embark on another exciting game drive, track the Big Five, before returning to the lodge for dinner.
You continue your stay at the lodge and enjoy another morning and afternoon game drive. Perhaps you may want to spend some time at the spa, before your journey home tomorrow.
After a final morning game drive and a scrumptious breakfast at the lodge, you have a private, luxury transfer from the lodge to Durban, King Shaka Airport, in time to check in for your onward flight home.
