Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans, situated between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Day 1 – Cape Town
On arrival in Cape Town you make your way through passport control and customs. You meet our representative in the Arrivals Hall and transfer to your hotel where you check in and have the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 – Cape Town – Half Day City Tour
This morning you are collected from your hotel for a Half Day Cape Town City Tour. The tour starts with an orientation drive. Other highlights of the tour includes a stroll through the Dutch East India Company Gardens, a drive up Signal Hill for a birds eye view of the city and lastly a walk through the colourful houses for Bo Kaap also known as the Malay Quarter.
Day 3 – Cape Town – Optional: Full Day Cape Point Tour
You depart your hotel in the morning for a Full Day Cape Point Tour. This tour includes a Seal Island Cruise from Hout Bay, a scenic drive over Chapmans Peak, a visit to the Boulders penguin colony and lastly you spend some time at the famous Cape Point to take in the magnificent views.
Day 4 – Cape Town – Optional: Full Day Table Mountain and Township Tour
Today you visit the iconic Table Mountain rising up over 1000m above sea level. So intertwined with the identity of Cape Town is Table Mountain that a visit to the city isn’t complete without having walked or taken the cable car to the top.
Later you visit the Township of Langa. Langa is one of the many areas that were established prior to the apartheid era designated for Black Africans. The name Langa means “sun” in the Xhosa language, but the name of the township is actually derived from the name Langalibalele – a famous chief who was imprisoned on Robben Island for rebelling against the government. During a township tour, you’ll experience the “real” Langa and meet many people who are making a difference in the community.
Day 5 – Depart
Today you have a transfer from your hotel to Cape Town airport where you check in for your onward flight.
