On arrival at Cape Town airport you are met in the arrivals hall by your private guide and transferred to your hotel in the Franschhoek Wine Valley. At the hotel, your guide will give you a briefing on the next day’s activities. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to rest and relax after a long flight.

Depart the hotel to enjoy delicious wine tastings in the Boland region, at some of the most beautiful wine estates in the world, and explore the charismatic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, rich in history, culture and culinary delights. Relax over lunch at one of the many award-winning local restaurants.
Idyllic Franschhoek, nestled in a valley settled by French Huguenots in 1688, is a delight for both antique lovers and gastronomes alike.
Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town, provides another glimpse of classic 17th-century Cape style, with a chance to browse quaint Dorp Street and the many museums, galleries and shops of this lovely university town.

After a leisurely morning enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you have a transfer from the Winelands to your hotel in Cape Town. You have the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore on your own.

The day starts with a visit to the iconic Table Mountain where you take the aerial cable car to the summit. Once on top of the mountain, you can enjoy 360 degree views of the city below and the Twelve Apostles. After exploring and enjoying the views, you return to the lower cable station from where you depart for a tour of the city.
The city tour includes a visit to the Castle of Good Hope, a drive past the iconic city hall, a visit to the Company Gardens and a walk through the colorful and historic Bo Kaap (Malay Quarter). You return to your hotel in the late afternoon and prepare for dinner.
The evening starts with an interactive drumming session at Gold Restaurant, followed by a 14 course set menu dinner with live entertainment. A return dinner transfer is included and sees you returned to your hotel at around 22h00 (10pm).

On arrival at the lodge you check in and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon you meet with the Rangers in the lounge area for some afternoon tea before setting out on your first game drive.
You return to the lodge in the evening where dinner awaits and stories of the days sightings are shared.

It is recommended that the safari starts as early as possible, as this is a great time of day for game viewing. Many of the wild animals have just started their search for food and water for the day. In general, animals are more active in the cool early mornings and prefer to wait out the midday heat under shady trees or in their burrows.
You return to the lodge to a warm welcome and a scrumptious breakfast. You have the rest of the day at leisure until departing for your late afternoon game drive.
