Located in the center of the Old World with a history of over 2,500 years, Istanbul is one of the world’s great cities, famous for its historical monuments and scenic beauty. Surrounded by 5th century Roman city walls and stretching over seven hills, Istanbul is adorned by the masterpieces of Turkish art; the great mosques of the Sultans that crown the hills.
Day 1: Istanbul
On arrival at Istanbul airport you make your way through passport control and customs. You meet our representative in the Arrivals Hall who will be holding a nameboard with your surname on it. Depart the airport and transfer to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Istanbul (BB)
Having the day at leisure, you have the opportunity to explore the Istanbul at your own pace or perhaps do an optional Day Tour of the old city where you could visit the Hagia Sophia or the famous Blue Mosque.
Day 3: Istanbul (BB)
Another day at Leisure in Istanbul. We recommend a Bosphorus Cruise and tour.
Day 4: Istanbul (BB)
You have the day at leisure and thus time to explore more parts of this great city at your own pace. A visit to the Taksim area is recommended. The area is known for shopping and what better place to experience the people and the culture than taking a stroll down Istiklal Street and a ride on an old tram back to your starting point, followed by a short walk to Galata Tower.
Day 5: Istanbul (BB)
This being your last full day at leisure in the city, we recommend taking a full day tour to the Prince’s Islands
Day 6: Istanbul (BB)
Today you have a transfer from your hotel to Istanbul Airport, in time to check in for your onward flight.
