Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans, situated between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Day 1 – Cape Town (BB)
On arrival in Cape Town you make your way through passport control and customs. You meet our representative in the Arrivals Hall. During our way to the Hotel you will enjoy a half day tour which will showcase the highlights of the “Mother City”.
Starting with a ride in the Cable Car to the summit of Table Mountain where you can take in the magnificent views of the city, followed by an informative orientation tour and finally a walk through the cobbled streets of the colourful suburb of Bo Kaap (Malay Quarter).
Day 2 – Cape Town – Full Day Cape Point Tour
You depart your hotel in the morning for a Full Day Cape Point Tour. This tour includes a Seal Island Cruise from Hout Bay, a scenic drive over Chapmans Peak, a visit to the Boulders penguin colony and lastly you spend some time at the famous Cape Point to take in the magnificent views.
Day 3 – Cape Town – Full Day Winelands Tour
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your full day Winelands Tour.
The Cape Winelands Day Tour is a beautiful and scenic excursion whereby participants make their way from Cape Town to the picturesque Winelands, visiting South Africa’s most famed wine regions, including Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Aside from excellent wines, these areas offer tasty cuisine and historical masterpieces, including the Taal Monument, located atop a hill overlooking Paarl.
Day 4 – Cape Town (BB)
Today you can enjoy your full day at leisure
Located between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown and just east of the Addo Elephant Park, the Amakhala Game Reserve is an ideal choice for Big Five Safaris. Featuring spectacular topography created by the Bushman’s River, the reserve is home to a huge array of animal species – besides the big five, visitors can also spot cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, plenty of antelope species, and many other smaller interesting animals. Amakhala also boasts fantastic bird watching opportunities, and idyllic boat cruises offer a delightful way to experience this. Other highlights include a variety of fantastic game drives, guided walks, and horse trails. Just outside the park, there are plenty of attractions to discover, including the Amakhala Craft Centre, and the Bushman Sands Golf Course and Health Spa.
Day 5 – Cape Town to Amakhala Game Reserve (FB+)
Today you will be picked up from your Hotel and transferred to Cape Town International Airport to catch your flight to Port Elizabeth (domestic flight not included in the price). Once you arrive at Port Elizabeth Airport a representative of ours will welcome you and take you to you Lodge .
Day 6 – Amakhala Game Reserve (FB+)
Full Day at Leisure.
Day 7 – Depart
Depending on your departure flight time, after Breakfast you are collected by your guide for your transfer to Port Elizabeth airport, where you check in for your onward flight.
