What to Expect
On your maiden visit to the Mother City, You enjoy five days of all the city has to offer and a Big Five Safari, only 2 hours outside Cape Town. The following will only scratch the surface of what to expect but will give you a brief insight to this iconic city.
On arrival at Cape Town airport, you clear customs and immigration and then meet your guide in the arrival’s hall. You depart the airport a city orientation tour, before going to your hotel for check in. At the hotel you have some time at leisure and then prepare for dinner.
This evening you enjoy dinner at Gold Restaurant. Your evening at the Restaurant starts with an interactive African Drumming session, followed by a taste of various African dishes and entertainment.
After breakfast your guide meets you in the hotel lobby and you depart for a full day Cape Point tour.
Cape Point Day Tour – Includes all entry fees
This morning you depart and drive through the affluent suburbs of Camps Bay and Llundudno before reaching the coastal town of Hout Bay. Embark on a cruise to Seal Island (about 45-minute cruise). You return to the mainland and depart for Simons Town and Boulders Beach via the breathtaking Chapmans Peak Drive. A visit to Boulders Penguin Colony offers you the opportunity to see these animals up close but in their natural environment. You also have some free time to explore the historic Simons Town with its many antique stores.
A short drive from Boulders Beach is the next stop on this tour, Cape Point where you enjoy lunch at the renowned Two Oceans Restaurant. After lunch, you take a funicular ride to the top of Cape Point where you have free time to explore. Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope are often referred to as the meeting place of two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean.
You depart Cape Point for the city and arrive back at your hotel in late afternoon. This evening you enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Baia (or similar)
After breakfast at the hotel, you depart the hotel and spend the day visiting the Cape Winelands.
Stellenbosch wine region & Table Mountain – Including wine tasting
A short drive from the city you enter into the beautiful and historic, Cape Winelands. You arrive in Stellenbosch which is the 2nd oldest town in the country. Your guide takes you on a tour of this historical town as he shares all its secrets. Later you have some free time to explore some of the many antique shops and art galleries.
Just outside the town of Stellenbosch, you visit one of the renowned wine estates where you enjoy a wonderful wine tasting and relaxing lunch. After lunch you return to the city and visit the Iconic Table Mountain. Ride the revolving cable car to the summit for a bird’s-eye view of Cape Town and the Peninsula (weather permitting).
On arrival back at the hotel you have time to prepare for at a local restaurant. Pigalle (or similar)
After breakfast your guide meets you in the hotel lobby and you depart for a full day Big 5 Safari.
Aquila Safari
Only a 2½ hour drive outside Cape Town, you can enjoy a full day safari with an experienced and friendly game ranger. You arrive at approximately 12:00 PM and enjoy a welcome drink. Indulge in a 4-star lunch buffet, before embarking on your 2 to 3-hour safari where you have the opportunity to see the iconic “Big 5”. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore the rest of the facilities.

Whale Watching Tour
This morning your guide collects you from your hotel and you transfer to the coastal town of Hermanus which is located 2 hours outside of Cape Town. On arrival you check in for a safety briefing before embarking on a whale watching cruise.
SOUTHERN RIGHT CHARTERS is a leading boat-based whale watching operator. The company is environmentally sensitive and as a licensed permit holder operates under the motto OBSERVING NOT DISTURBING. They have been in operation since 1999. This up, close and personal encounter with the gentle giants of the ocean promises to be an ‘experience to be treasured.’
WHAT YOU CAN ENCOUNTER
Encounter Southern Right, Humpback & Bryde’s whales.
Dolphins, Seals, and a large variety of marine birds including the African penguin.

On return to the mainland there will be time to have lunch at one of the many restaurants in Hermanus before returning to Cape Town. You arrive back at your hotel with some free time. Prepare for dinner which will be at a local restaurant. Baia (or similar)
This morning you have some time at leisure before your transfer to the airport where you check in for your onward flight home.
