What to Expect

Starting in Cape Town there are 3 day tours highlighting the diversity and icons of the Mother City including, Table Mountain, Cape Point and the Winelands. A visit to South Africa is not complete without a  safari in the Kruger National Park.  After the thrill of tracking the Big Five its time to take in the beauty of the Victoria Falls.  A visit at the right time of year promises spectacular sights and sounds.

** Day 1: Arrive Cape Town**

On arrival at Cape Town airport you are met in the arrivals hall by your private guide and transferred to your hotel. At the hotel, your guide will give you a briefing on the next day’s activities. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to rest and relax after a long flight

** Day 2: Cape Point Day Tour **

Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope are often referred to as the meeting place of two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Located at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula, this Cape Point Tour is the ultimate in covering the most scenic parts easily, conveniently and safely. Join us for a unique and memorable day to see Cape Town’s very best! You may just fall in love with the Cape whilst you explore. This tour offers a scenic drive along the iconic Chapman’s Peak, a boat rip out to Seal Island, a funicular ride to the top of Cape Point and lots of time to explore the Boulders Beach penguins colony.

** Day 3: Winelands & Table Mountain Day Tour **

Ride the revolving cable car for a bird’s-eye view of Cape Town and the Peninsula from the top of the iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting).

Depart the city to enjoy delicious wine tastings in the Boland region, at some of the most beautiful wine estates in the world, and explore the charismatic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, rich in history, culture and culinary delights. Relax over lunch at one of the many award-winning local restaurants.

Idyllic Franschhoek, nestled in a valley settled by French Huguenots in 1688, is a delight for both antique lovers and gastronomes alike.

Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town, provides another glimpse of classic 17th-century Cape style, with a chance to browse quaint Dorp Street and the many museums, galleries and shops of this lovely university town.

** Day 4: Cape Town to Kruger National Park **

After breakfast at the hotel you transfer to Cape Town airport where you check in for your onward flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On arrival you are met in the arrivals hall and transfer to your lodge. You have the rest of the day at leisure.

** Day 5: Full Day Kruger National Park Safari **

The safaris typically start at 5:30 in the morning in 4×4 open vehicles and end around 16:00. You’ll be collected and dropped off at your hotel.

It is recommended that the safari starts as early as possible, as this is a great time of day for game viewing. Many of the wild animals have just started their search for food and water for the day. In general, animals are more active in the cool early mornings and prefer to wait out the midday heat under shady trees or in their burrows.

Breakfast packs can be arranged by your hotel or lodge and your guide will stop at a picnic spot at any of the nearby campsites for breakfast. Lunch is for your own account at a restaurant at one of the rest camps.

** Day 6: Kruger National Park to Victoria Falls **

After breakfast you transfer to Kruger Airport where you check in for your flight to Victoria Falls.

On arrival you are met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon you enjoy a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

** Day 7: Victoria Falls **

This morning you have a scheduled Tour of the Falls, viewing it from many different viewpoints.

You’ll have time at leisure for some optional touring. This evening you enjoy drumming and dinner at the Boma Restaurant.

** Day 8: Departure **

Today you have a transfer from your hotel to Victoria Falls Airport where you check in for your flight to JohannesburgOn arrival at Johannesburg Airport you check in for your onward flight home.
