What to Expect

This 8-night tour package invites you to embark on an exhilarating exploration of South Africa’s Mother City, the scenic Hermanus coast, and the breathtaking Garden Route. Carefully designed to highlight the best of the city’s culture and natural beauty, this package is ideal for those looking to indulge in golf or discover the charm and allure of these stunning destinations while enjoying a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

**Day 1: Cape Town – Arrival**
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, clear customs and immigration, then meet your guide in the arrivals hall. Transfer to the hotel and Check In.  You have the rest of the day at leisure to rest and recover from the long flight.

**Day 2: City, Table Mountain & Kirstenbosch **
This morning you are collected from your hotel for a full day of touring.  Your journey begins with a visit to the lower cable station, from where you take a revolving cable car to the summit of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for stunning panoramic views of Cape Town and the Peninsula.

After descending, it’s time to explore the city with an orientation tour.  Enjoy a drive through the city and past some of its historical sites, including the 400-year-old Castle of Good Hope and City Hall.  Visit the Slave Lodge and Company Gardens before exploring the vibrant Cape Malay Quarter, known as Bo Kaap.

Lunch can be had at a local restaurant and would be for your own account.

After lunch, visit the stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, located on the lower slopes of Table Mountain. This renowned garden showcases the Cape’s rich flora, with the unique fynbos vegetation taking center stage. You’ll have time at leisure to explore this paradise, which is ranked as one of the top botanical gardens in the world.

 Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

**Day 3: Cape Peninsula Tour **
After breakfast, meet your guide and depart for a full-day tour of Cape Point. Drive through the scenic suburbs of Camps Bay and Llandudno to the coastal town of Hout Bay. Enjoy a 45-minute cruise to Seal Island. Continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive to Simon’s Town and visit Boulders Beach, home to a charming colony of African penguins. Lunch at a local restaurant would be for your own account. Explore the historic town of Simon’s Town with its antique stores, followed by a visit to Cape Point.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

**Day 4 : Hermanus – Leisure Time **
This morning you have a transfer from your hotel in the city to your Hotel in Harmanus.  You arrive at around lunch time and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore this quaint coastal town with its many antique shops and markets.

**Day 5 : Hermanus – Leisure Time **

Today you have the day at leisure to relax at your hotel or do some optional touring.

**Day 6: Knysna – Garden Route **
Today you have a transfer from your hotel in Hermanus to Cape Town Airport where you check in for your flight to George Airport.  On arrival at George Airport, you’re met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route.
You have the rest of the day at leisure.

**Day 7: Knysna – Explore Tsitsikamma **
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you’ll depart for Plettenberg Bay to visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden. Monkeyland is the world’s first free-roaming multi-species primate sanctuary, dedicated to educating visitors and fostering a deeper understanding of primates.

Birds of Eden features a unique two-hectare dome—the largest in the world—covering a gorge of indigenous forest. It is home to over 3,500 birds from more than 220 species, with a primary focus on African birds.

Lunch is for your own account at one of the many beachfront restaurants in Plettenberg Bay. Afterward, you’ll visit the Tsitsikamma Forest to see the famous Big Tree and enjoy a walk through the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

**Day 8: Knysna – Leisure Time **

Today you have the day at leisure to relax at your hotel or to explore with some additional touring.

Today you have a transfer to George Airport where you check in for your onward flight to Cape Town or Johannesburg to connect with your international flight home.
