Your journey begins at the only permanent game lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River within the famous Chobe National Park. Next you take a light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta for a 2 nights stay at Camp Okavango where you can enjoy bush walks and mokoro excursions. Your final stop is two nights in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park at Leroo La Tau situated on the banks of the Boteti River, where you enjoy game drives.

What to Expect
A Botswana safari offers one of the most authentic and immersive wildlife experiences in Africa. Known for its vast wilderness areas and diverse ecosystems, Botswana features iconic destinations like the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National Park, famous for its large elephant population. The country’s commitment to low-impact, high-quality tourism ensures fewer crowds and a more intimate connection with nature. Visitors can explore through a mix of game drives, boat safaris, and mokoro (traditional canoe) trips, witnessing diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species.
On arrival at Johannesburg airport you are met in the arrivals hall by your guide and transferred to your hotel. At the hotel, your guide will give you a briefing on the next day’s activities. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to rest and relax after a long flight.
Today you transfer to Johannesburg Airport where you check in for your onward flight to Kasane, Botswana. On arrival at Kasane Airport you transfer to Chobe Game Lodge arriving in time to check in and prepare for the afternoon Safari, in an open 4×4 Safari vehicle.
The day starts with an early morning game drive, searching for the Big Five.
After the game drive you return to the lodge where you enjoy breakfast and have some time at leisure. This afternoon you embark on a boat safari offering a view of the animals as they come to the river to drink water.
After a final morning game drive you transfer to the Airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Camp Okavango for a 2 night stay. The camp is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta and offers bush walks on a number of nearby islands or experience a meander through the reed-lined waterways in a traditional Mokoro (dugout canoe).
You have the day at leisure to do some of the activities on offer at the lodge. Included in your stay is 4×4 Game drive, Walking Safari on one of the near by islands, or you can try some fishing in the Delta. Fishing is strictly Catch & Release.
After a final morning game activity, you transfer to the airstrip from where you have a light aircraft flight to Leroo La Tau Lodge, on the banks of the Boteti River. This afternoon you enjoy a game drive. The lodge offers guided game drives in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park focusing on the exceptional wildlife sightings along the Boteti River. Depending on the water level, boat activities are also provided.
You continue your stay at the lodge and enjoy the game activities on offer. A day trip to the Salt Pans is available but should be booked in advance. Should you be lucky enough to travel during the migration, then get your camera ready for an experience of a lifetime where you witness a Dazzle of Zebra.
After a final morning game activity, you transfer to Maun Airport where you check in for your onward flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, you check in for your onward flight home.
